Spoil Royale

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Effective Date: May 2026

Spoil Royale is a social strategy game. The fun comes from competition, conversation, and the social dynamics between players. These Community Guidelines exist to make sure everyone feels safe enough to actually play.

These Guidelines apply everywhere on Spoil Royale: usernames, gameplay, voice chat, video chat, and any other communication on the platform. They're incorporated into our Terms of Use by reference, which means breaking them means breaking the Terms.

The Short Version

  • Don't harass, threaten, or discriminate against other players.
  • Don't share sexual content or content involving minors.
  • Don't share personal information about yourself or others.
  • Don't record other players.
  • Compete hard, but keep it human.

What's Not Allowed

Harassment and Bullying

Don't target other players with insults, slurs, threats, repeated unwanted contact, or coordinated pile-ons. Trash talk is part of the game — personal attacks are not.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

Content or conduct that demeans, threatens, or discriminates against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics is not allowed.

Threats and Violence

No threats of violence against other users or third parties. No content celebrating violence, terrorism, or self-harm.

Sexual Content and Nudity

No sexual content, nudity, or sexually suggestive behavior in voice, video, usernames, or any other part of the Service. Spoil Royale is not a platform for that.

Content Involving Minors

Content that sexually exploits, endangers, or is directed at minors in a sexual or grooming manner is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate, permanent account termination. We report such content to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by federal law, and we cooperate with law enforcement.

Doxxing and Sharing Personal Information

Don't share personal information about other users — real names, addresses, phone numbers, employer, school, social media accounts, photos — without their clear consent. Don't share personal information about yourself that you don't want other players to have.

Recording Other Players

Don't record, screenshot, or capture voice or video of other players without their consent. This is both against our rules and may violate state and federal law.

Impersonation

Don't pretend to be another player, a Spoil staff member, or any other real person.

Cheating and Exploits

Don't use bugs, cheats, third-party tools, or unauthorized modifications to gain an advantage. Don't share or sell account access.

Spam and Disruption

Don't flood lobbies with noise, spam chat, advertise unrelated services, or otherwise disrupt the game for other players.

Illegal Activity

Don't use Spoil Royale to plan, facilitate, or commit illegal activity.

Voice and Video Specifically

Live voice and video chat make Spoil feel more like a real social game — but they also mean what you say and show happens in real time, to real people, with no chance to take it back. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Anyone in your lobby can see and hear you. Don't share anything you wouldn't want strangers to see or hear.
  • Spoil doesn't record voice or video. Streams are live transmission only. But other users can still report you for what you do on stream, and we will investigate.
  • Don't record other players either. Whether through screen capture, a second device, or any other method.
  • Backgrounds matter. Whatever is visible behind you on video is visible to everyone in the lobby. Mind what's on the wall, on your screen, and on the floor.
  • If something feels wrong, leave. You're never required to stay in a lobby. Reporting and leaving are the right moves, in that order.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

Reporting

If you see a violation, use the in-game report button or email play@spoilroyale.com. Reports are confidential — the reported user won't see who reported them.

Review

Spoil staff review every report. We may look at the user's history, prior reports, and context.

Actions

  • First report (non-severe): The user receives a warning.
  • Second report (non-severe): The user's account is permanently removed.
  • Severe violations: A single confirmed severe violation results in immediate, permanent account termination, regardless of prior history. Severe violations include content involving minors, credible threats, hate speech, sexual harassment, doxxing, and illegal activity.

We reserve the right to take any action we believe is appropriate, including reporting to law enforcement.

Appeals

If your account is terminated and you believe it was a mistake, email play@spoilroyale.com within 30 days. We'll review and respond within a reasonable time.

If You're Being Harmed

If you're experiencing bullying, harassment, threats, or any conduct that makes you feel unsafe:

  1. Report the user — in-game button or play@spoilroyale.com.
  2. Leave the lobby. Don't stay in a game where you're being abused.
  3. Contact us if you want to follow up directly.
  4. Call local emergency services if you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger.

You are never obligated to stay in a Spoil Royale game. Your safety matters more than the game.

Changes

These Guidelines may be updated. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept them.
